Fall Bucket List

10/8/2017

It may have been fall for a while, but it's only starting to feel like it now. The change of color in leaves, warm apple cider, and sweaters signal the beginning of fall to me, and I immediately start checking off the yearly fall bucket list. Today, I thought I'd share with you some of my favorite activities to do in the fall!

Bucket List Ideas

  • Pumpkin picking - picking them is half the fun, having a carving night with family/friends makes it 2 fun days for the price of 1
  • Apple picking - don't forget to make the pie after!
  • Drink warm apple cider and play board games
  • Knitting - starting with something easy like a scarf or hat is a fun way to try and new activity and keep yourself warm.
  • Pumpkin store haul - this involves going to your local grocer and purchasing all and every pumpkin flavored product to try with family or friends
  • Jump in the leaves!
  • Hiking - with the weather cool enough, hiking with the view of the fall foliage make it one of the best times of year to get out in the fresh air
  • Bake - something about the fall really makes me want to bake, I always end making at least 1 pie this season!
  • Make a playlist  - I don't know about you, but every fall I find myself listening to a certain type of music, and every year I don't save my songs together, and lose them for the next. Make a playlist with your favorite "fall" songs so you can jam out while doing the above activities.

With who, where, and when?

All of these activities can be done by yourself for a "me" day, or rather with friends or family. I would plan who you do your bucket list with based on your schedule, so that way you are fitting in as much as you possibly can. For example, if you know you have a family day coming up, suggest going apple picking together. Or if all your friends are out of town, pick up those needles and knit with some apple cider in front of the fire. The goal of a fall bucket list is to incorporate fun, season themed activities in your regular week day schedule, and this is the sole reason why fall is my favorite season, and can be yours too.

Now It is time to get out there and create your own! Use the above examples, and add your own favorite things to do in fall, whether it relates to the season or not. If you create a bucket list of your own, share it with me on social media, I'd love to see what you come up with! I hope you have a fantastic week.
xx Hanna
