In search of a last minute Halloween costume? Look no further. These three costumes came together from finding a base and building up. The creativity belongs to you! The looks are great for a dress-up day at school, a party, or handing out candy. Minnie Mouse:As you might have noticed from above, the base for these three costumes are my red pants. You can use anything as your base: a black dress, a blue sweater, a pair of boots, etc. From the base, you build on layers to create your costume. This is very helpful for those who find it hard to imagine what you want to be. Here is what I am wearing: Sweater: JC Penny Pants: Gap Shoes: Payless My ears were found at a local Halloween store, but if you have old ones from DisneyWorld, or want to make a pair yourself, that works equally. Sock MonkeyStarting with my red pants, I remembered that I owned a few cute winter hats, and decided to take a peek. When I found this sock monkey one with the red mouth, it fit perfectly with the pants. From there I added a 1/2 sleeved grey sweater and my white converse. Here is where everything is from: Sweater: JC Penny (same pants) Shoes: Converse Hat: JC Penny This outfit combo could work with any hat and matching color clothes. It is great for trick and treating because it is cute, simple, and keeps you warm. Cat in the HatI created this outfit from one of my old Halloween costumes. If you've ever bought a silly hat or have a family member with an old Halloween costume, use it to your advantage. You can also use makeup to enhance the look. I created the nose and whiskers with a black eyeliner. I am wearing a white shirt with a black jacket over it to recreate the cat in the hat. The same white converse (though not visible) are on my feet. Here is where I got everything: Shirt: H&M (same pants and shoes) You can find a hat like this one at a local Halloween store, hat store, and probably most Target/Walmart stores. I purchased mine at a hat store dedicated to silly hats. That is it for the Last Minute Halloween costume ideas! This post was more of an inspiration post than anything, With the help of a base layer, costume ideas come to life. Let me know in the comments below what you are being for Halloween. I will try and post on Halloween to show my costume for this year, but I hope you have a great week!

Fall is when the weather starts to get a little colder, making layering a key aspect. Check out my outfit below for some autumn inspiration. It's bound to keep you warm all day and feel comfy at the same time. When it comes to fall, layering is a must. It is finally the time of year to wear light sweaters, flannels, and boots. Nevertheless, I get very excited and want to wear them all together. Therefore, this look is a very layered, including all of my fall favorites. The shooting location was Riamede Farm, and if you live nearby, I totally recommend checking it out. The apple cider doughnuts are delicious and made fresh! Here is where everything is from: Sweater: Abercrombie Kids Flannel: Areopostale Pants: PacSun Jacket: Forever 21 (similar) Boots: H&M When wearing a very light sweater, like this blue one, I enjoy putting a flannel over it to keep myself warmer. Not only is it a unique way to style your clothes, but it makes you outfit look more layered. I understand if you can't fit a flannel over heavy winter sweaters, but they look adorable with light fall outfits. The jacket is great with layered outfits, and adds so much to the look with it's multiple textures. I kept the bottom simple with plain black pants (high-waisted, because why not?) and my favorite boots. Overall, this look is great for cold weather and makes you look comfy yet chic. Here's a little college of the orchard we went to. I purchased a large pumpkin for carving later this month. They also had apple, tomato, corn, and sunflower picking open. The farm advertises themselves as a quiet, traditional farm without the carnival. It was located in a beautiful area and the farm was small and cute. Overall, my favorite of the two orchards I've visited so far this year. (The other one being in my Apple Picking post.) Cozy-ed up on my couch right now watching the Harry Potter weekend, anyone else? Let me know in the comments if/where you got your pumpkins this year, or if you know of any great local farms. Also let me know your favorite things to layer in the fall, I'd love to hear your opinion. I hope this picturesque post made up for last weeks wordy one. Lots of love! xx Hanna
