Yes, it is finally becoming my favorite time of the year for clothes. Although most people love wearing shorts all summer long, I am usually checking the weather to see when it will be cool enough for me to wear pants. I did a little shopping the past few weeks to replace anything that had been damaged or that I had grown out of. I also got a few new fashion essentials to add to my closet, and make it look newer. Today I will show you the first of three back to school outfits, all with a unique style and theme. Comfy & CasualOne of the things I picked up while going back to school shopping was a pair of Boyfriend Jeans. These type of jeans always reminded me of what I pictured painters and artists wearing. As soon as I tried them on, I was hooked. They are baggy, super comfy, and can give any outfit a totally different look. I also liked how they are meant to be rolled up, because I tend to do that with a lot of jeans anyways when they're too long. Here is where everything is from: Top: H&M Bottoms: Aeropostale Shoes: Converse Necklace: Aeropostale Bracelet: Aeropostale Belt: T.J. Maxx Here is a close up of the shirt and the choker. I got the choker in a set of 2, both very simple and delicate. I have never purchased this kind of necklace before, but I am obsessed now. They seem to make every outfit better, and the ones coming into style now are very simple delicate, which fits my style. I picked this tee-shirt because of the way it fit, the material makes it slouch in the right place, and it is not too tight, but not too loose. It is hard to find the right shirt to go with boyfriend jeans because a big, baggy shirt can ruin the look, and a tight shirt can make the jeans look really big. With a closer look at the bracelet, you can see that it matches the pendant on the choker. I just wanted to note that I did not intend on this while buying these, and I was so pleased when I realized at home. Here is a closer look on the bottom half of the outfit. The jeans have wide holes that fell (for me) right under the knee, and cute off before my shoes. I did roll them up a little to make them fit me better, and I find that overall they worked out pretty well. I was scared at first when trying to style them, because I thought I wouldn't be able to make it work, but I think I will be wearing these a lot this year. I paired the look with sneakers because it makes the look "fall", but if it were spring, I would have worn tan sandals. That concludes the first of three back to school outfit posts! I hope this helps you when deciding what to wear for the first day of school. It can be very hard picking out the perfect outfit, which is why I designed these by style, so you can pick the one that fits you best. If you want to see more different types of styles, I will have the links below for my three back to school outfit posts from last year. Let me know in the comments when school starts for you! There might be another post with a new outfit between now and next Sunday, so keep your eyes peeled on social media ;) Have an incredible week!
